KEANSBURG - Lt. Gov. Kim Guadagno is expected to hold an event Tuesday to announce a run for New Jersey governor.

Guadagno reportedly filed the paperwork to fun for the Republican nomination last week. She is expected to officially announce her campaign at Tuesday’s event.

Guadagno will be running against three other republicans for the nomination: Assemblyman Jack Ciattarelli, Nutley Commissioner Steve Rogers and Ocean County businessman Joseph Rudy Rullo.

There are currently nine Democrats also campaigning to be New Jersey’s leader.

Gov. Chris Christie’s term ends in January 2018.
