Lori Bauer, of High Bridge, accused of filming and distributing child pornography

Officials say Bauer may have sent her child porn videos to a third party in New York City. (4/5/14)

HIGH BRIDGE - The Hunterdon County Prosecutor's Office announced that they have arrested a High Bridge woman for allegedly endangering the welfare of a child, along with filming and distributing child pornography.

Lori Bauer, 38, is accused of video taping a child under 13 that was either engaged in sex acts or simulating them. Few on her street saw the arrest, but many say they were disturbed since they have children and/or grandchildren of their own.

Police say the alleged crimes didn't happen at her High Bridge home, but may have occurred when Bauer was living in Holland Township in 2011.  One neighbor says Bauer had a child of her own, but authorities did not give details about that.

Officials say Bauer may have sent her child porn videos to a third party in New York City. That person in question was also arrested by the NYPD.

Hunterdon prosecutors did not say when Bauer would appear in court, but did ask anyone with information on the case to call them.
