Longtime Monmouth Co. Democrat keeps congressional seat

EDISON - Rep. Frank Pallone (D-N.J.) beat out Highlands Mayor and tea-party backed candidate Anna Little to keep his seat in the U.S. House of Representatives.

It was a tight race for the Democrat, who usually wins by large margins.

With the Republican Party regaining control of the House, Pallone told News 12 New Jersey that the important thing is for everyone to work together.

Little lost by less than 15 percentage points. She says she plans to run again.
