Lodi teen killed, 6 hurt in wrong-way crash

WEST MILFORD - Police say a 16-year-old girl was killed and six other people injured in a head-on, wrong-way crash in West Milford.

Kanil Reyes was a passenger in a car that was reportedly driving southbound in the northbound lanes of Route 23 Wednesday night when they collided with another car.

Four of the six surviving passengers in the cars suffered significant injuries and were airlifted to local hospitals.

Two others suffered lesser injuries and were taken to the hospital by ambulance.

No charges have been filed in the ongoing investigation.
