LODI - Tenants at a public housing complex say they have received letters telling them their building may become smoke-free.

Residents say they were told by the Lodi Housing Authority that it's a quality of life issue.

Many told News 12 New Jersey that they don't support the move, and believe it should be their right to smoke in their homes.

Calls to the Lodi Housing Authority for comment were not returned.
