EDISON - Fans from around the world are remembering actor James Gandolfini, best known for his role on the HBO hit series, "The Sopranos" at two locations where the show was filmed.

Gandolfini was born and raised in the Garden State, and played the role of New Jersey mobster Tony Soprano.

Fans flocked to Holsten's ice cream shop in Bloomfield, where the very last scene of "The Sopranos" was filmed.

The booth where the last moments of the landmark drama were shot was empty. Owners paid their respects by placing a "reserved" sign on the table.

Satin Dolls gentlemen's club in Lodi was made a local landmark when it provided the backdrop for the "Bada Bing" strip club during filming of the series.

Manager Lance Lyon says the show was good for business at the club. Patrons say Gandolfini's death is a "great loss."
