LIVINGSTON - Grocery stores were packed Wednesday with shoppers rushing to stock up on necessities ahead of the latest winter blast.

Customers at the Livingston ShopRite were filling carts with baby formula, toilet paper, milk, bread and plenty of snacks in anticipation of yet another snow day.

Serena Solomon, of Livingston, says she was refilling prescriptions, and planning on baking s'mores with her kids.

Shoppers described a hectic scene inside the store.

But not everyone was storm shopping.  Laurie Hauptman says winter storms are old news in New Jersey and most shoppers should already be stocked up. "We could all live off our pantries," she says.

Power outages are also a possibility with this storm, but most shoppers told News 12 New Jersey that Sandy taught them to be prepared.
