DENVILLE - A woman who took family photos to a store to have them copied for relatives feared they were lost when the shop suddenly closed.
Lisa Ostella says she was afraid that the irreplaceable family album containing photos going back generations in Italy was gone.
The album was kept by Ostella’s mother-in-law until she died last year. "Momma is gone and now the photo album is gone," Ostella said.
Last month, Ostella brought the photos to Post Net, a copying center in Denville. When she came to check on her photos, she found the store locked and closed for business.
She tried reaching the corporate offices for the Post Net chain without a resolution. News 12 New Jersey called, and within minutes, Ostella got the call promising she'd get her originals back.
Post Net says Ostella should know by Friday when her photos will be returned.
