Linden shoe store robbed on New Year's Eve

Two store employees at a Payless in Linden spent part of their New Year's Eve tied up and robbed, according to police.

The robbery occurred at the Payless Shoe Store in Linden Plaza.

According to police, two men entered the store at around 8 p.m. on New Year's Eve. Police say one of the men pulled out a gun.

Police say the men tied up the two teenage girls who were working there and left them in the back of the store.

The men made off with about $200 from a safe inside the store.
