ATLANTIC CITY - Mayors and members of local government are meeting and greeting in Atlantic City at an annual conference where officials trade ideas on how to best spend tax dollars.
One of the top issues this year is Gov. Chris Christie (R-N.J)'s "Tool Kit," a bundle of bills meant to cut property taxes.
Lawmakers say they'll pass the rest of the "Tool Kit," but they also say taxpayers shouldn't expect any relief soon. Assembly Speaker Sheila Oliver (D-N.J) says it could be two to three years before taxpayers see any real help on their tax bills.
News 12 New Jersey will be at the conference luncheon Thursday, where Christie is scheduled to speak.
