LAKEWOOD - After receiving summonses, 80 homeless residents of 'Tent City' in Lakewood may have their camp demolished this week.

Steve Brigham, the man who started Tent City, says authorities plan to come in Wednesday and disassemble the camp if the tents are not taken down.

Just last week, police in Maryland found a person dead in a flooded camp where homeless people live in tents. It was not immediately clear whether the discovery led to a crackdown on other tent cities.

According to their website, the makeshift shelter started in 2005.
