WANAQUE - Administrators at Lakeland Regional High School in Wanaque have lowered the number of credits needed to graduate.

Students at the school will now need 130 credits to graduate, as opposed to 135. The new credit requirement is still 10 points higher than the state-wide minimum of 120.

The school's superintendent says the move will free up credits for high achievers looking to take college-level courses. The move will also make it easier for kids at risk of dropping out.
