Komen North Jersey points out that pink is everywhere

EDISON - October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and many retailers are putting on the pink.

The executive director of Komen North Jersey says with more pink popping up every year, one doesn't have to look far to find a fundraiser or a place to pitch in. At the Short Hills Mall, pink is the new signature color, from huge hanging art in hallways to more subtle pink lights and flowers in lounges. Many stores in the mall are also donating part of purchases in October. Other businesses such as Gotham, a teen clothing store in Millburn, are raising money by selling breast cancer products. Breast cancer awareness advocates encourage all women over the age of 40 to get regular mammograms.
