NORTH BERGEN - Controversy surrounds cell phone video clips of a North Bergen woman seen being forcibly removed from a committee meeting.

North Bergen Police forcibly removed 62-year-old Janet Zorovich from a town committee meeting at the behest of Mayor Nick Sacco.

The incident began when an audience member played a tape of Sacco allegedly threatening a former town employee. Sacco claims that tape has been digitally altered.

Upon hearing the tape, Zorovich and other audience members reacted audibly with disapproving comments.

Sacco then had officers remove Zorovich from the meeting.

Zorovich says both Sacco and North Bergen Police were out of line.

Sacco argues that Zorovich was arrested for disrupting a public meeting.
