KINNELON - A woman in Kinnelon says she is fighting to keep coyotes off of her property.
Linda Duras believes the animals are using a nearby abandoned pool house near her house as a den. She says she's asked the local police, health department and animal control for help, but says no one is helping her get rid of the wild animals.
When News 12 New Jersey placed calls, the mayor's office referred our reporter to the health department, who said to call animal control. Animal Control offered tips, but said that if an animal needed to be removed, a call should be placed to Fish and Wildlife officials.
Duras says that the Fish and Wildlife officials told her she had to hire her own trapper. In her case, the pool house is on someone else's property.
