EMERSON - More than 70 kindergarteners from Memorial Elementary visited Emeritus Senior Living in their Halloween costumes.

They sang scary songs, paraded around, and received goodie bags.

Seniors handed them bags of pens, pencils, and crayons to take back to school.

"It reminds them of their grandkids, the days of when they took care of the children," says Carol Habler, of Emeritus Senior Living. "Watching the beautiful costumes you can see their faces light up."

The Halloween parade is an annual tradition between the senior center and the school.
