KEYPORT - The borough administrator in Keyport is under arrest, and it's not the first time she's been in trouble with the law.
Police say they arrested Lorene Wright after she became belligerent and refused to take responsibility after crashing into another car.
According to police, Wright side-swept a fellow borough employee's car in the municipal building's parking lot. When approached by officers, police say Wright became disorderly and refused to hand over her driving documents.
Wright was the subject of a previous Kane In Your Corner investigation, after she allegedly smashed her car into the car of Keyport police dispatcher Carol Fox earlier this year. According to a police report, Wright refused to take responsibility for that accident also.
According to Keyport Police Chief George Casaletto, Wright told him to "pin it on someone else."
In the most recent incident, Wright was arrested and charged with aggravated assault on an officer, resisting arrest, obstruction and disorderly conduct.
