NEPTUNE CITY - A popular Irish pub at the Jersey Shore is preparing for its busiest weekend of the year.

Kelly's Tavern in Neptune City is cooking up all the Irish favorites to prepare for the crowds on St. Patrick's Day.

The bar and restaurant prepares 8 tons of corned beef in the month of March, as well as 4,000 pounds of peeled white potatoes and 2,500 pounds of cabbage.

Operators expect it to be very busy this weekend and jam-packed on Monday. Kelly's Tavern opens at 7 a.m. Monday and they say even at that early hour, customers order lots of corned beef hash and Bloody Mary's.
