FREEHOLD - Kathleen Dorsett has been sentenced to 58 years in prison for arranging the murder of her estranged husband, Stephen Moore.

Dorsett's parents, Thomas and Lesley Dorsett, were also sentenced in the Monmouth County murder case.

Thomas Dorsett admitted striking Moore with a heavy cable in the backyard of the couple's Ocean Township home in 2010. Then with the help of his daughter, loading Moore's body into the trunk of his car. The father then drove the body to Long Branch, where he paid someone to burn it.

Dorsett's wife, Lesley, received a seven-year sentence for conspiring with her daughter to kill Moore's mother so she couldn't testify. Police foiled that plot.

At their guilty plea in May, the Dorsetts described how an acrimonious divorce battle spun out of control.
