Junior Olympic regatta draws young sailors to NJ (7/23/13)

ISLAND HEIGHTS - Young sailors from all over the world have traveled to New Jersey for a Junior Olympic regatta.

The event, one of the largest of its kind in the country, was held at Island Heights Yacht Club in Ocean County. It was part of a nationwide series held by US Sailing's Junior Olympic Program. The regatta drew about 300 boats and 330 sailors.

The program aims to boost sailing and developing of skills among young sailors.
