EDISON - Two of New Jersey's go-to spots for sweet treats are preparing traditional specialties for Easter.

The staff at Judicke's Bakery in Bayonne will work around the clock this weekend churning out nearly 2,000 bunny cupcakes among other pastries. Owner Khaled Aly bought the 89-year-old bakery in 2000, and will go through about 400 eggs this Easter weekend to make his braided breads.

Lepore's Chocolates in Hoboken carries many seasonal treats including carrot candies and chocolate eggs. The shop is a neighborhood favorite this time of year.

Both shops will be open through the weekend, including Easter morning.
