WAYNE - A final judgment has been made against a Wayne prom dress store that did not deliver on paid orders last spring.

A judge ordered the owners of Red Carpet Prom and Pageant to repay stiffed customers in full.

They have also been banned from opening another store anywhere in the state of New Jersey.

Store owner Patricia Dowling, 38, of Sewell, had filed a police report stating that someone broke into her store and took off with about 40 prom dresses. She was later charged with filing a false burglar complaint.
