FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP - The former assistant vice principal of the Elizabeth Avenue Elementary School in Franklin Township has been indicted on charges he sold drugs out of his home.

John Norton, 33, of Bound Brook, was arrested in December after police say they found crystal meth and GHB in his home. They also found a man who was possibly suffering from a drug overdose.

Norton resigned from his job one day after his arrest.

Norton was charged with two counts of drug distribution and drug possession with intent to distribute, according to reports.
