JERSEY CITY - A store owner is picking up the pieces after a bus crashed into a building on Kennedy Boulevard.

Authorities say a problem with the brakes caused the bus to crash into four cars and then the store at approximately 6:15 a.m. at the corner of Grant Avenue.

The store owner says police called him and told him what happened.

Five passengers on the jitney bus were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
