EDISON - Football fans in the Garden State have little to cheer about this Christmas Eve, as both the Jets and Giants turned up losses on Sunday.

The Jets hoped third-string QB Greg McElroy would change things around, but he was sacked a whopping 11 times.

San Diego scored first with a 63-yard punt return, and ultimately beat the Jets 27 to 17.

Meanwhile, the Giants lost their chance to win the NFC East with a 33-14 loss to the Baltimore Ravens. Baltimore racked up 533 total yards against Big Blue, clinching the AFC North.

The Giants still have a chance of winning the Wild Card.
