POINT PLEASANT - Beach erosion and coastal flooding were reported along parts of the Jersey Shore in the wake of the storm.

Front lawns along Brielle Road in Manasquan had some flooding, and miniature icebergs seemed to be scattered about, as the water slowly found its way into storm drains.

The mayor of Seaside Heights told News 12 there was some minor flooding along the bay, but no evacuations were necessary.

Further south it was more severe, as Sea Isle City, Margate and Brigantine took in 2 feet of water in some neighborhoods.

In Belmar, the 12- to 15-foot storm dunes did their job, holding back the surf and stopping any further erosion.
