Jersey Shore MC gears up for Bamboozle patients

ASBURY PARK - Hospitals in the Asbury Park area have been prepping for the influx of patients that Bamboozle Music Festival is expected to bring.

Jersey Shore Medical Center officials say they expect to get 20-to-30 more patients in the emergency department each night.

Dr. Robert Sweeney says the staff is worried more about drug and alcohol use from the crowd than anything else.

Sweeney says that the hospital will have extra staff on hand, from physicians to security, for the remainder of the weekend.
