POINT PLEASANT - Many business owners along the Jersey Shore are hoping for good weather and lots of visitors during the Independence Day holiday weekend.

Wet weather has hampered business early this summer as they attempt to recover from Superstorm Sandy.

Shore towns along the state’s coast have worked hard since the storm to prepare for the important summer season.

Weather is expected to clear up for the rest of the holiday weekend with temperatures in the 90s.
