POINT PLEASANT BEACH - Businesses and residents along the Jersey Shore are stocking up and making preparation for Hurricane Sandy's arrival.

Much of the coast is under a voluntary evacuation order, which could become mandatory over the weekend.

Emergency management officials are reminding residents and businesses to move outdoor furniture indoors, in addition to boarding up windows and sandbagging doors.

Coastal flooding is likely to be a major issue for the Jersey Shore as Hurricane Sandy makes landfall.
