Beachgoers are being warned about swimming on unguarded Jersey Shore beaches.

Many beaches don't have lifeguards on duty after Labor Day. Beach badges are also no longer required, and swimming is at your own risk.

There is currently a moderate risk for rip currents at the Shore.

Some towns, including Long Branch, still have limited days in September with lifeguards. Officials recommend...
