JERSEY CITY - The staff at Jersey City Medical Center hopes the public recognizes a patient with amnesia.

The man says that he can only remember his first name, which is Alcides, and nothing else.

He has been at the hospital since Oct. 10, when he was found near a restaurant in West New York.

The patient is about 35 years old, 5 feet 4 inches tall, and has brown hair, eyes and facial hair.

Anyone who recognizes him is urged to contact the Jersey City Medical Center Department of Social Services at 201-915-2070.
