JERSEY CITY - Mayor Jerry Healy is set to leave office after nine years on July 1, and he is talking candidly to News 12 New Jersey.

Healy says the mayor's job is often a thankless one, but he says he worked hard and told the truth.

Mayor Healy says he would have liked to see the completion of the Jersey Avenue extension, as well as light rail, during his administration.

Councilman Steve Fulop will take over as mayor in July.
