WRIGHTSTOWN - (AP) - Retired NBA star Jayson Williams ispreparing to move from a prison in New Jersey's farmlands to NewYork's Rikers Island.

Williams will be transferred from Mid-State CorrectionalFacility in Wrightstown next Friday after he finishes an 18-monthsentence for aggravated assault. From there, he'll begin serving aone-year sentence for driving while intoxicated in New York City.

The 43-year-old drove his SUV into a tree in lower Manhattan aweek after he accepted a plea deal stemming from the shotgun deathof a limo driver in his New Jersey mansion in 2002.

Williams' manager, Akhtar Farzaie, tells The Record newspaperthat Williams attends Alcoholics Anonymous sessions six days a weekand teaches a Bible study class.
