PISCATAWAY - Prosecutors say a 23-year-old Newark man was beaten to death during a brawl at a Piscataway bowling alley early Sunday morning.
Jamount Atkins died after the brawl broke out at Stelton Lanes at around 1:30 a.m.
Atkins had tweeted earlier in the evening that he would be at the alley. Prosecutors say the melee involved about 250 people.

Atkins was taken to a local hospital by ambulance where he was pronounced dead.
Police are looking at surveillance video from inside the bowling alley to identify possible suspects.
It was not clear what started the brawl. No arrests were made.
Atkins leaves behind his parents, two sisters, a brother and his cousin DaShawn, who was at the alley during the attack.
