ASBURY PARK - A Freehold man has been arrested and charged with murder and attempted murder after a Thursday night shooting in Asbury Park.

Police say Jamar Walker, 30, shot and killed Orlando Rowe of Bridgeport, Connecticut. Another victim, 23-year-old Freehold resident Daquin Calhoun, remains hospitalized in intensive care.

Investigators say the shooting is not gang-related. If convicted of first-degree murder, Walker faces life in prison.
