LAKEWOOD - A Lakewood father is giving thanks today to two people he says saved his son's life.

Tyjeer Lewis nearly died on Tuesday after he suffered an asthma attack and stopped breathing.

Jahmier Lewis said that as he rushed his 4-year-old son to the hospital, he came across Lakewood Patrolman Sean Doyle who began CPR.

He said Ivana Lopez, a Good Samaritan, saw the patrolman giving CPR, and also stepped in to help, doing chest compressions on the boy until he began to breathe again.

"If it wasn't for either one of them, he would not be here right now," says Lewis. "He was not breathing for over 10 minutes."
