Jackson residents debate opening of new Jewish Orthodox high school
JACKSON - Plans for an all-girls Jewish Orthodox high school are causing a stir in Jackson Township.
The third hearing to consider approving the school was held Wednesday night. Some residents worry the new school will lead to higher transportation costs for everyone in the district.
Dozens of people attended the meeting to hear legal arguments about zoning issues. Many consider the proposed site a residential area.

The final decison has been delayed by an ongoing traffic study.
