JACKSON - Jackson police have released a sketch of a suspected burglar who recently had a run-in with a homeowner.

According to police, the man entered a home through the rear window and had a run-in with the homeowner. When confronted, the suspected burglar told the homeowner he was looking for his brother and asked to use the phone.

Neighbors and police say the house was likely targeted because it didn't look like anyone was inside.

Police say the man was last seen speeding away from Oxford Road.

Similar burglaries have been reported recently in nearby Toms River, Wall and Brick.
