JACKSON - Student members of the Jackson Memorial High School marching band will have a very big audience on Monday.

They're one of 23 bands selected out of more than 2,800 applicants to perform in President Barack Obama's inaugural parade on Monday in Washington, D.C.

They'll be entertaining the crowd with a rendition of "God Bless America."

Jackson's band played another inaugural parade eight years ago for then-President George W. Bush's second term.

The band takes off for D.C. bright and early Monday morning at 2 a.m.
