Irvington police identify suspect wanted for multiple sexual assaults as Samuel Reed

IRVINGTON - The Irvington Police Department is looking for a man accused of sexually assaulting multiple women since January.

The suspect was identified by authorities as Samuel Reed. Police say that he is 5 feet 5 inches tall, and weighs 165 pounds. He has brown eyes and black hair.

Police say the attacks happened near the intersection of Grove Street and Nye Avenue at various hours of the day and night. All of the women who were attacked say that they were threatened with a gun.

Authorities are warning anyone working in the area to stay vigilant and notify police if they see Reed.

Anyone who may have information about Reed is asked to call Irvington police at 973-399-6603.
