NEW BRUNSWICK - News 12 New Jersey's John Bathke is the only television reporter to have been at the courthouse every day of the Dharun Ravi trial.

Ravi is accused of spying on Tyler Clementi, his freshman-year roommate at Rutgers. Clementi jumped to his death from the George Washington Bridge in September 2010, just days after the alleged spying.

Today, the crowd of journalists at the trial swelled, as the jury deliberated and a verdict was expected. News 12 New Jersey's John Bathke says that the crowd of journalists was up to 60 earlier in the day and grew larger as the day went on.

Bathke says the family of defendant Dharun Ravi was in one area of the "L-Shaped" hallway. Clementi's family was also at the courthouse, in a separate area of the hallway.

The jury was dismissed today without reaching a verdict. Deliberations are scheduled to continue tomorrow at 9 a.m.
