TENAFLY - One person was taken to the hospital and others were treated for minor injuries after a small bus and a box truck crashed in Bergen County.

The accident at the intersection of East Clinton and Sylvan avenues was reported at approximately 3:30 p.m. Thursday.

Mayor Peter Rustin says it appears an adult day care bus clipped the box truck, which was parked on the shoulder. It is unclear how many people were on the bus at the time.

The shuttle belonged to Long Life Adult Day Care in Cliffside Park.

A northbound lane of Sylvan Avenue was closed during the investigation but has since reopened.

Police say the victims' injuries do not appear to be life threatening.
