EDISON - A powerful storm will impact New Jersey with ice accumulations of up to half an inch.
News 12 New Jersey Meteorologist Dave Curren says extremely dangerous travel conditions can be expected through tomorrow morning, as well as the possibility of widespread power outages.
Curren says ice storm warnings are posted from Mercer and Middlesex counties northward, and freezing rain advisories are in effect for Monmouth and Ocean counties southward.
New Jersey officials have activated the State Emergency Operations Center in West Trenton to coordinate the response to the storm.
