Hundreds turn out for meeting in Roselle in wake of violence

Hundreds of people showed up for a town hall meeting in Roselle tonight after two people were killed and two others injured in a shooting

ROSELLE - Hundreds of people showed up for a town hall meeting in Roselle tonight after two people were killed and two others injured in a shooting last week.

Many in attendance say they were driven by the need to know more, as well as fear over the incident.

At one point during the meeting, Roselle's police chief suggested that someone in the crowd may know something about the shootings. He urged anyone with information to come forward and help solve the borough's most recent violent crime.

Investigators say they believe the shootings were gang-related and say that one of the victims was a member of the Crips gang.
