NEWARK - More than half of Newark's residents are without power after superstorm Sandy.

While there is a shortage of gas, with residents waiting as much as six hours to fill up, there's no shortage of food and drinks being made available to residents in need.

There are 700 hot meals being served daily at several locations throughout the city. Supplies are also being distributed to the city's shelters, and they're available to anyone.
