NEWARK - The Associated Humane Society is asking for the public's help in finding the person who severely burned a puppy.

"Webster" was found over the weekend in Newark with third-degree burns on his back. Investigators believe the burns were caused by an acid or some other chemical.

The Humane Society is also concerned for other puppies from the litter that may have also been harmed.

Scott Crawford, of Associated Humane Societies, says, "You see the shape that this one's in... imagine where are the other ones right now? What happened to them?"

There is a $1,000 reward for anyone who can help find out who did it.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Associated Humane Society.
