NEWARK - Police are investigating reports of human remains stolen from Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
Officers responded to the cemetery Tuesday afternoon for reports of a burglary at one of the cemetery's mausoleums.
Police say the mausoleum dates back to the 1940s and that someone forced open a casket and removed the remains.

There have been several other thefts at the cemetery since its opening, according to Newark police.
