BRICK - Camp Osborn is no more.

The set of homes along Route 35 in Brick Township were completely demolished Tuesday after being severely damaged by a Sandy-related natural gas fire. Neighboring residents whose homes are still intact say they have been waiting for the houses to be repaired before they can start fixing their own residences.

Mayor Steve Acropolis says the process has taken longer than expected because of a 19-point checklist required by FEMA. The federal agency is picking up 90 percent of the repair costs.
