TRENTON - Firefighters spent several hours Thursday morning digging through debris after the partial collapse of a vacant house.

Crews found a homeless man under the rubble and took him to the hospital.

The extent of his injuries was not known.

Fire officials say the man had been sleeping on the front porch when the roof and one wall came crashing down.

The building is now being demolished.
