Holiday weekend's hot weather continues

MANASQUAN - Memorial Day weekend may be over, but the nice weather and hot temperatures have continued into the week, at least until Wednesday.

At the Manasquan Inlet, locals took advantage of the nice weather and lack of weekend crowds to head to the beach. Highs today are to reach 90 this afternoon in some parts of the state, and while there will be almost no humidity throughout the day, the weather's expected to be humid tonight.

Temperatures are also expected to reach 90 tomorrow, and a cold front passing through will bring a chance of isolated showers and thunderstorms. Relief will come by Friday, when temperatures will drop back down to the low 80s.
